I have yet to find an honest person. If you arent going to go with electric tabs then I would go with the smart tabs. For slow planing speeds you want the tabs down all the way so the closest youll get to that is the smart tabs if you put the step n trim tabs down to help planing speeds then they will hurt your top end and cruising speeds.
Tubing slow was almost impossible. With the smart tabs installed the bow stays MUCH lower during startup and plans out very fast. We should have purchased them years ago.
