You dont want to come back with life-threatening diseases caused by the leakage. You have to know how to keep a black water tank gray and even the fresh one. In case there is a leakage you can decide to do repair to your tank or replace.

By drawing off a fresh water tank you nearly eliminate the source of the stink. Cut the top off of the old aluminum tank and replace it with a collapsible Poly tank also referred to as a bladder tank. I have done this and it is fairly easy and works wonderfully.

Fill your tank with water. You have to have water as high as the highest misreading sensor to clean it. Shake your bottle of Sensor Cleaner very well.
Pour half the bottle into your black tank through the toilet. Let sit for as long as possible. There is no amount of time that is too long to let Sensor Cleaner work.

Have new replacement valves new ABS pipe and appropriate rubber hose connectors. Am removing the old solvent joint on the black tank which is a slow job but Coachmen knew they would not have to cover the cost of repair under warranty so I understand why they did the half-a job. They probably saved at least 150.
