I would not recommend installing a bronze through hull on. Babooze has it right. Use some Starboard or UHMW through bolted and sealed with 5200 and then mount your transducers to it.
That way WHEN you replace the transducer you dont have to worry about putting yet more holes in the transom. I think when it comes to being an expert on installing a transducer on an aluminum boat hull that you need to find someone who has done so on the same hull or at least same shaped hull. They can be very finicky as to transducer placement.

How is the best way to mount my transducer to the transom of my aluminum boat. I really dont want to put holes in the boat below the water line. I was looking at mounting plates on the Cabelas web page that allows you to keep all holes in the boat above the water level but the idea of paying 30 bucks for an 18X12 piece of plastic just doesn.
